Mediation with Karen
Anyone can mediate, but by selecting Karen, you are not only hiring a Mediator, but an Attorney Mediator, who can help you sort through all of the legal issues that come up in Matrimonial Law. Â This means that you NEVER have to step foot in court, and Karen can file in court for you. Â It also means that Karen can explain the law clearly to you and help you make smart choices for your entire family.
What Exactly is Mediation?
Mediation is a process in which both parties hire one Mediator to meet with them together and go through every issue at hand. Â The three of us work together to find fair solutions that work for both of you and your children. Â It is the Mediator's job to make sure each party is heard and cared for. Â The Mediator is a neutral third party, who facilitates the discussion and answers questions and suggests ides but YOU, the parties, make all of the decisions. Â During Mediation, with my guidance, YOU decide when and how often we meet. YOU decide the answer to every question. YOU stay out of court.
What about my Children?
Karen was a Human Development and Family Studies Major at Cornell University. You are the parents and retain all control of decisions related to your children.
We will work together to make sure your children will be well cared for in either parent's home.
Karen will help you decide when and how to tell your children about your separation or divorce. Â She has written articles about this topic and will share all her knowledge with you.
Karen fully appreciates what a difficult time this is for both you and your children. Â She is here for you every step of the way.
